You may be wondering what is a Bible Study?
Our Bible studies are an open participation forum guided discussion about a particular topic, or a specific section of the Bible. Sometimes the study will be an Old Testament topic, or subject. Many times, it will be a New Testament topic or subject. We typically use a lesson book as a study guide, with anunderstanding that the works of men can contain errors. We will always have a lesson book, or copy of the lesson, so visitors can easily follow along. Class members are encouraged to make comments, and to answer questions that arise along the way. We do try to stay "on subject" so the class is not open to discuss every subject. However, we encourage you to ask us any questions that you might have, directly to one of us, and we will be happy to set up a time to study, and answer, your question.
We give everyone an opportunity, if they would like, to read from the lesson book, or various Bible verses pertaining to the study, and to answer the questions from the lesson book, so that everyone can participate, if they would like to. We do not require anyone to participate, if they would rather not, but we are perfectly happy to have you join us, and simply listen.
Study is an important part of the life of a Christian. (2 Tim. 2:15)Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. By studying the Bible, we grow in knowledge, faith, and understanding. We would encourage everyone, from all walks of life, to join us in these studies.
