Singing

Once each month we have a special kind of Worship Service called a "Singing."

You may be wondering what this type of worship service is like.

Singing:
This "Song" service actually contains all of the same elements of our normal Worship Service, but in a slightly different proportion. This Worship Service is primarily focused on worshiping God through Songs. Various men lead the congregation in a number of songs (sung acapella by all of the members). (Ephesians 5:19-20)Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord. Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our visitors are encouraged to sing along with us, and enjoy the beautiful sound of songs that glorify and praise God, and our Lord Jesus. And also, songs that encourage us in our spiritual lives, and songs about our great hope of eternal reward in Heaven. There are song books available for everyone to use, so they can confidently join in.

Prayers:
This "Song Service" also includes prayers, just like our regular Worship Service.

Communion:
There is a specific time set aside during our Song Service for Communion, which is available to any who were not able to participate in the morning Worship Service. We do this every Sunday night, including during the song service.

Offering:
There is a specific time set aside during our Song Service for an Offering, which is available to any who were not able to participate in the morning Worship Service that week.

Invitation:
The focus of a regular worship service is on the Bible Preaching. But in the Song Service, the focus is on singing. This service does not have a full Bible Sermon. Instead, it has a brief spiritual thought for the day, and includes the Lord's Invitation for anyone to become a Child of God. Each time we assemble we offer an Invitation for anyone to become a Child of God that day. If someone desires to give their life to Jesus, there is not any delay to baptisms, but they will be given the opportunity to be baptized that very same day. Garments and towels are provided.
